Welcome back, friend. I’m sure glad you’re here! I can’t believe we are already in the middle of January. This month is flying by. Normally, January drags out, but not this year. I’ve been very busy creating new content, updating a few spaces and slowly putting my Christmas decor away. Yes, I still have decor out… I don’t move as fast as I used to. I’m sure someone can relate with that. Haha

I'm excited to be back with my bi-weekly newsletter shares, and in this edition, I'm featuring my updated breakfast nook space.

Moreover, anticipate fresh design ideas, links to curated moodboards and my Amazon list of my 2024 top selling items. There’s so many great products!

As always, thank you for being here, my friend. I genuinely appreciate your support and I’m excited to help you create spaces that inspire you to turn your house into a place you love coming home to.

With much love,

Kelly

💡Designer Tips:

Custom curtains can significantly enhance the aesthetic and functionality of a space. Here are three designer tips on how they can transform your environment:

Create a Focal Point: Custom curtains can serve as a statement piece in a room. By selecting bold patterns, vibrant colors, or luxurious fabrics, you can draw attention to windows and make them a focal point. This can enhance the overall design and add personality to the space.

Control Light and Privacy: Tailoring your curtains allows you to choose the right fabric and length to control the amount of natural light entering a room. Light-filtering fabrics can create a soft, warm glow, while blackout options provide complete privacy and darkness, making the space versatile for different times of day.

Enhance Proportions and Height: Installing custom curtains that extend from ceiling to floor can create an illusion of higher ceilings and larger windows. This vertical emphasis not only makes a room feel more spacious but also adds an elegant touch, making the overall design more sophisticated and inviting.

Incorporating these tips can lead to a stunning transformation, making your space feel more tailored and refined.
