“Simply Inspired Design Co. was founded in a spare bedroom in our home! We are Eric and April Austin, a husband and wife team who just decided to go for it and follow our dreams of running our very own business. We believed and still believe that God has big things for all of us who will embrace it!
After many late nights of brainstorming sign ideas and testing colors and styles, we finally launched our handmade sign business in January of 2017. We had no idea what we were doing but this was a dream of mine that my husband was totally on board with and we believed that God would provide everything we needed. We just went for it and he has been so faithful to us. About a year later we had so much work that I could no longer do it by myself. Eric then left his full time job after 20 years and came along side me, working full time at home! We have been married going on 27 yrs and have 2 beautiful daughters.
Prior to launching, I worked as an account rep in an Oncology office and Eric was working at a Furniture Factory as an upholsterer and also doing graphic design on the side. After we launched, our business quickly began to gain attention and grow in popularity on social media. It has not been without growing pains and challenges but we can honestly say that we're so grateful for the journey and also very blessed to have such amazing customers that continue to support us!”
Our friends at Simply Inspired Design Co. were nice enough to include a special 20% coupon offer eligible site wide for all subscribers to the FTTC newsletter!

FALL COFFEE BAR
It’s not officially fall in my home until my coffee bar is complete and I couldn't have added a more perfect framed sign to this space. Our wonderful sponsors worked with me on this gorgeous, Autumn Morning Coffee artwork. This captures the essence of autumn with the dried hydrangeas, intertwined with transitional fall stems. The vintage mug is filled to the brim with steaming coffee while the coffee beans glisten softly, with their dark brown hues that contrast beautifully with the lighter tones of the table.
My coffee bar is a delightful blend of functionality and charm! Imagine this cozy setup in your kitchen, where each piece contributes to both the aesthetic and the convenience of your morning ritual.
At the left side, the adorable lamp casts a warm, inviting glow, perfect for those early mornings when the world is still waking up. Its soft light enhances the cozy atmosphere as you prepare your first cup of brew. Surrounding the lamp are extra mugs, ready for use whenever you have guests or need a quick refill.
Your favorite syrup, housed in a charming glass bottle, adds a personal touch and flavor to your coffee experience. Nearby, an adorable creamer pitcher not only holds cream but also cleverly stores spoons, ensuring everything you need is within reach.
The small lidded rattan basket adds an element of texture and organization, providing a home for your coffee pods or tea bags, while keeping your bar looking tidy. Of course, your trusty Keurig stands proudly, ready to brew a fresh cup at a moment’s notice.
In one corner, a stack of books rests on the lamp, perhaps filled with coffee recipes or cozy reads, inviting you to linger a little longer. All of this is beautifully contained on a large wooden cutting board, which not only serves as a practical surface but also adds warmth and rustic charm to your coffee bar. Altogether, it creates a welcoming space that embodies the joy of coffee and the comfort of home.
💡Designer Tips:
Creating a stylish fall coffee bar can enhance your kitchen's aesthetic while providing a cozy space for enjoying your favorite brews. Here are some designer tips to help you set up a beautiful and functional fall coffee bar:
1. Color Palette: Embrace the warm hues of autumn. Incorporate shades of orange, deep reds, mustard yellows, and earthy browns. You can use these colors in your decor items, such as mugs, table runners, or wall art.
2. Layer Textures: Mix and match materials to create depth. Use wooden surfaces for warmth, ceramic mugs for charm, and woven baskets for a rustic touch. A soft knitted or plaid hand towel can add a cozy feel.
3. Functional Decor: Choose decorative items that serve a purpose. An attractive coffee canister, a stylish syrup dispenser, or a unique creamer pitcher can elevate the look while keeping everything organized.
4. Seasonal Accents: Add seasonal decor like small pumpkins, gourds, or dried flowers to bring the essence of fall into your space. These can be placed on the countertop or in a decorative bowl.
5. Lighting: Incorporate warm lighting to create a welcoming atmosphere. A charming lamp, fairy lights, or even candles can provide soft illumination, especially during the early morning or late evening.
6. Organized Display: Use trays or cutting boards to keep your coffee essentials organized. This not only creates a clean look but also makes it easy to access everything you need for brewing.
7. Personal Touches: Include personal elements like framed photos, favorite coffee books, or artwork that resonates with you. This adds character and warmth to your coffee bar.
8. Greenery: Introduce some greenery with potted plants or herbs. They not only purify the air but also add a lively touch to your coffee bar. Consider herbs like mint or basil for a fresh twist on your coffee.
9. Seasonal Flavors: Showcase your favorite fall-inspired syrups, such as pumpkin spice, caramel, or hazelnut, in decorative bottles. This invites you to experiment with flavors while enhancing the visual appeal.
10. Comfortable Seating: If space allows, consider adding a small stool or chair nearby. This creates a cozy nook for enjoying your coffee and makes the space feel inviting.
By implementing these tips, you can create a fall coffee bar that is not only functional but also a stylish and inviting space that reflects the beauty of the season.
